Here I have shown how the book reflected the mental state of Alice and how it implies that alice didn't visit wonderland at all.

And again I have recreated the famous tea party scene with just Alice pouring tea for no one.

Here I have displayed the harsh reality of Alice realising that 'Wonder Land' isn't real.

Text and Image Update

It's 2:35am and I'm still wide awake so I have decided to take this perfect opportunity to blog about what I have been up to.

I have started the final shoot for my text and image. The shoot is inspired by Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carol. I will be recreating some of the most Iconic scenes from the novel. I will be adding my own twist to the scenes. The photographer that inspired me to take this route was David Lachapelle. I like his big sets and quirky images where not everything is what it seems.

The text will be cut out from paper clippings, preferably from a news paper as I want the photo to seem childlike. I have also been inspired by the history of the novel itself and the accusations about how Lewis Carol was blinded by drugs while writing the book so I thought I would transfer an essence of desperation and anxiety into the image series.

Camera Phone Photography

I am always excited by unique ways of creating new images.

When I found out about the instagram app on the Iphone I was  immediately inspired and interested in doing some of my own.

I also felt as though it was a part of the era we're living in now. Much like how polaroid camera's are always thought to belong in the 80s.

I will be doing some more instagram photos as a project on the side of my college work.

Fashion Shoot

When planning my fashion shoot I was inspired by so many idea's. I ended up having the idea of 80's rock n roll glamour fixed into my mind. I decided planning on who I wanted to model for me and what I wanted them to wear as soon as I made up my mind.

The jacket really stands out in these images. I feel as though a piece of the 80s actually exists in the image because of the era the jacket came from. I also like the reds, blacks and blues that clash with each other. I used a white back drop as I wanted the colours and the leather jacket to stand out as much as possible. The bandana and sunglasses were used to give it more of an edge.

Today I sent my Photographs from the architecture shoot to the Rector of Castor church.
I thought it was about time to upload the rest onto my blog.
